Linda has an allergy towards Dairy and Lamb, also intolerances towards Wheat, Gluten and MSG.
Linda likes Winnie The Pooh because she is mad on honey, but her husband says she is just mad.
She decided to write a cookery book for everyday meals after discovering her intolerances and how most foods you buy have one or the other in them.
She now wants to show other people how to cope in their everyday cooking, and how they can have fun with food and actually really enjoy what they cook.

Nigel's first career was catering and then he moved into IT Training. Now it looks like he is returning to catering.
Mad on Roast Beef and Yorkshire Puddings and over the last 10 years has been enjoying the fruits of 2 allotments near their house.
Piero Stallo

"Tri-lingual Italian computer boffin, eats lots of pasta!"
As well as being very much into IT and anything geeky, Piero loves his food (and you can tell!). He qualified as a cook in 2003 at Swan Tafe in Perth, Western Australia.
Although not personally affected, Piero has always lived around people with food intolerances, this has given him the so-needed stamina to co-found the famous Food Intolerance website WrinklyPepper.com (which now counts over 120,000 hits every month) and its associated vitamin & supplement store WrinklyStore.com.
Piero describes his encounter with Linda & Nigel as lifechanging! They first met when Linda published her successful book Free & Easy Recipes (which can be purchased at LindaMercer.co.uk). Piero and Linda have been involved in a number of projects which have finally led to the establishment of Cooking Without.
